Holly M. Yanker is the Manager, Small Business Counseling Team with Business Link North Carolina (BLNC) – (pronounced “blink”), a part of the overall state partnership, Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC)
Professional Summary
Holly Yanker has two decades of experience working with small and large businesses, including nonprofits. Her business/organizational industry knowledge ranges from technology to consumer products in the United States and abroad (Mexico, Europe and South America). She is dedicated to helping businesses grow and become more customer service focused no matter the size of the organization. She speaks Spanish and has lived in Venezuela and Colombia, South America.
Holly’s current role with Business Link is to help new businesses and existing businesses with regulatory information in North Carolina. Each state has different rules and regulations for industry and Holly and her team helped over 21K clients in 2017.
Personally, Holly brings with her extensive education in business with an MBA in International Management from Monterey Institute of International Studies; an MA in Latin American & Caribbean Studies and International Business and a BS in Marketing from Indiana University. She also has three business certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute; Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Duke University and Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) from the National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE).
