Wendy Gates Corbett is an author, speaker, and escaped global training executive. She is a presentation consultant who works with professional athletes, speakers and others who speak helping them craft and deliver memorable messages.

She’s a certified designer who has created and delivered over 1600 presentations in her career, including serving as the Slide Designer for TEDxRaleigh 2016. Wendy owns Refresher Training, LLC. Her company provides presentation consulting and training services to individuals and businesses.

Wendy is a long-time leader in the training industry. She’s been active in the local ATD chapter for 20 years (the Association for Talent Development) and currently serves on the international board of directors for ATD. She also serves on the Small Business Advisory Board at the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and is an advisor to Black Women in Business.

In 2013, she left a successful but stale 20-year career in the corporate training industry to embark on her mission: to rid the world of bad presentation experiences (for both audiences and presenters).
