August 29, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am

Alyson will lead a discussion on not only supporting great organizations like the Tammy Lynn Center but how volunteering is a sound career tactic!
Alyson Stoffer [not like the Lasagna] has 10 years experience in philanthropy. She is the Development Officer at Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities where she is stewarding, activating, and elevating donor support and gearing up for TLC’s 50th anniversary next year.
A connector and advocate for the philanthropic sector, she will be serving as president of AFP Triangle in 2019.
Alyson came to Tammy Lynn Center from Carolina Performing Arts where she led their Annual Fund operations. Prior to CPA, Alyson worked for the Public School Forum of North Carolina as Manager of Development & Communications and at Trinity Washington University as Director of the Annual Fund.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from University of Kentucky and a Masters in Nonprofit & Association Management from University of Maryland University College. She is married to Todd, a Librarian at NCSU and has a cat, Chance and 9-month golden doodle named Millie [pictures available if you need a dose of cuteness].
